Velox Pi (“we”, “us”) is a software development company registered in New Zealand. We take your privacy seriously and comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use veloxpi.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name or company name, email address, an optional address, and the description of your requirement. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence.
Technical information. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to keep the site secure and reliable. We do not currently run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where it is stored and who processes it
We use reputable service providers to run our business. Contact form submissions are delivered to our email, hosted by Zoho Mail. Our website is hosted on Vercel. These providers may store data on servers outside New Zealand; we choose providers with strong security practices and use them only to operate our services.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. We delete personal information we no longer need.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@veloxpi.com and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
Client project data
When we build software for clients, we may handle personal information belonging to the client's customers. We process such data only under the client's instructions and the terms of our engagement agreements, and we return or delete it when the engagement ends.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
